The Keystone XCFS/K-50 WIL Extra Heavy Duty Cavity Wall Lintel at 2850mm length is engineered for builders and contractors requiring dependable support for wide inner leaf cavity walls. Designed to accommodate cavity widths of 50-65mm, this lintel provides robust load-bearing performance essential for serious structural projects. Please note that inner leaf blocks should not extend beyond 25mm over the lintel flange to ensure proper installation.

Application

This lintel is ideal for supporting openings such as windows and doors in cavity wall constructions where the inner leaf blockwork is between 125-150mm wide. Its extra heavy duty rating makes it suitable for heavier load requirements on commercial or residential sites, providing stability and longevity. To maintain build quality and speed, it is recommended that lintels are propped during installation, with blockwork built tightly against the inner face of the lintel. Applying a mortar bed on top of the blockwork before laying floor units ensures even load distribution across the structure.
