Application

This lintel is purpose-built to support openings in cavity walls with a cavity width ranging from 50 to 65mm. It is perfect for use in walls where the inner leaf blockwork measures between 125mm and 150mm, commonly found in residential and commercial developments. The lintel flange must not be overhung by more than 25mm by the blockwork to maintain proper load transfer. Builders should bed a mortar layer on top of the blockwork before laying floor units, ensuring even distribution of weight and preventing structural stress.
