The Keystone XCFS/K-50 WIL 1050mm lintel is engineered for tradespeople and site managers working on cavity wall projects requiring extra heavy duty load-bearing capacity. Specifically designed to support wide inner leaf blockwork, this lintel provides dependable structural integrity for serious builds. Please note, inner leaf blocks must be correctly positioned and mortar bedding applied for optimal performance.

Application

This lintel is suited to cavity walls with a 50-65mm cavity and inner leaf blockwork thickness of 125-150mm. It’s ideal for supporting openings such as doors and windows where heavy structural loads are expected. The lintel flange should not be overhung by more than 25mm by blockwork to maintain stability. For best results, propping is advised during installation to accelerate build times and secure the lintel in place. Mortar should be bedded on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to ensure even load transfer.
