The Keystone XCFS/K-50 1200mm lintel is a specialist extra heavy duty cavity wall lintel designed for builders, contractors, and site managers requiring dependable structural support for openings within cavity walls measuring 50 to 65mm. Its robust design provides peace of mind on serious projects where load-bearing capacity is critical. Please note, all perpendicular and horizontal joints must be fully filled with mortar to ensure performance.

Application

This lintel is intended for use above window and door openings within cavity walls of residential or commercial buildings where extra heavy duty support is needed. It is ideal for supporting masonry above openings with cavity widths between 50mm and 65mm, distributing loads evenly to prevent structural failure. To optimise installation speed and safety, propping lintels during construction is recommended. A mortar bed should be placed on top of the blockwork prior to laying floor units to achieve a uniform load distribution.
