Details

The Keystone T/K-50 is a standard load timber frame lintel designed for cavity wall widths of 50 to 65mm. It provides essential support to the outer leaf of brickwork above openings, making it a dependable choice for builders and contractors working on timber frame projects.

Application

This lintel is primarily used in timber frame cavity wall construction, supporting brickwork over windows, doors or other wall openings. It is engineered to carry standard loads, ensuring structural integrity while allowing for efficient installation. For best performance, lateral restraint clips and a tightly fitted timber batten must be used to prevent twisting during and after installation. Propping the lintel is also recommended to facilitate quicker, safer construction.
