Details

Keystone Stop Ends are essential components for any lintel installation, designed to prevent moisture from cascading over the ends and penetrating cavity walls. Trusted by builders and site managers, they provide a reliable and cost-effective solution to protect internal walls from damp. Please note, these Stop Ends are sold separately and must be fitted at each lintel end for optimal performance.

Application

These Stop Ends are installed at the extremities of lintels acting as cavity trays, directing water discharge safely through brickwork weeps. This prevents rainwater from entering the inner leaf of cavity-filled walls, protecting internal finishes and structural integrity. They are particularly suited to new builds and refurbishment projects requiring robust moisture management.

Dimension

  • Available in two standard sizes to match common lintel base dimensions; specific sizing can be confirmed on request.

Material

  • Durable, weather-resistant materials suitable for external masonry environments.

Type

  • Lintel accessory – moisture control Stop Ends for cavity tray protection.

Following the Building Research Establishment’s guidance (DAS98), fitting Keystone Stop Ends is critical to prevent dampness caused by rainwater discharge in cavity walls. Ensure Stop Ends are incorporated into your lintel installation to maintain site standards and long-term building performance.
