The Keystone S/K-70 600mm standard duty cavity wall lintel is engineered for builders, contractors, and site managers who require dependable support for wall openings in cavity blockwork. Suited to cavity widths from 70 to 85mm, this lintel offers a practical solution for standard load-bearing requirements on a variety of projects. Please note the lintel is supplied as shown; images are for illustration only.

Application

This lintel is primarily used to bridge and support openings such as doors and windows in cavity wall constructions where the cavity width fits within the 70-85mm range. It is designed to be built into blockwork with the blocks tightly butted against the inner face. A mortar bed should be applied on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to ensure even load distribution across the lintel. For efficient and safe installation, it is recommended that lintels are propped until the surrounding masonry has sufficiently cured.
