Application

This lintel is typically installed to bridge openings such as windows and doors in cavity walls measuring 110mm to 125mm in overall width. It supports the masonry above openings by transferring loads safely to the adjacent structure. For best results, blockwork should be built tight against the inner face of the lintel, with a mortar bed applied on top before laying floor units. Propping the lintel during installation is advised to maintain alignment and speed up build times.
