Details

The Keystone S/K-50 Standard Duty Cavity Wall Lintel, measuring 4800mm in length, is designed for builders and contractors requiring dependable support for openings in cavity walls with cavity widths between 50 and 65mm. This lintel provides a practical solution for standard load applications, ensuring structural integrity on site. Please note that blockwork must be built tight against the inner face of the lintel for proper installation.

Application

This lintel is typically used to span openings such as doors and windows in cavity walls where a standard load-bearing capacity is required. It is ideal for general building projects involving brick and block construction. To ensure optimal performance, a mortar bed should be placed on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to evenly distribute the load. For safe and efficient installation, it is recommended that lintels are propped until the construction is stable.
