Details

The Keystone S/K-50 is a robust standard duty cavity wall lintel measuring 3900mm in length, designed specifically for builders and contractors working with cavity walls between 50 and 65mm wide. Its dependable construction makes it a practical choice for supporting openings such as windows and doors on site. Please note that this lintel is sold individually and requires a mortar bed for optimal load distribution.

Application

This lintel is typically used in cavity wall construction to span openings while safely carrying loads from above. It is best suited for standard duty applications where cavity widths fall within the 50-65mm range. Builders should position blockwork tightly against the inner face of the lintel and apply a mortar bed on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to ensure even load transfer. For faster, safer installations, it is advisable to prop the lintel during construction.
