Application

This lintel is commonly used to support brickwork or blockwork above door and window openings in cavity walls typical of residential and commercial construction. The lintel should be bedded on a mortar layer atop the blockwork to evenly distribute the load before floor units or further masonry is installed. Propping is advised during installation to speed up construction while maintaining structural integrity.
