Details

The Keystone HDBOX/K-200 is a robust, heavy duty box lintel engineered specifically for 200mm solid wall applications. Built to carry substantial loads including concrete floors and point loads, it is a dependable choice for builders and contractors tackling demanding structural openings. Please note, box lintels must have a minimum end bearing of 150mm on each side and be properly bedded on mortar to ensure maximum performance.

Application

This box lintel is ideal for use in solid masonry walls with a 200mm thickness where heavy duty load-bearing support is required. Its perforations along the length create a strong mechanical key for plaster, ensuring a secure and neat finish. Typically installed to span window and door openings, it can carry the full wet masonry load immediately after installation, helping to maintain site progress. It is recommended to prop lintels during construction to facilitate quicker and safer building work.
