The Keystone HDBOX/K-100 is a robust heavy duty box lintel, purpose-built to support openings in 100mm wide solid walls. Its strong construction makes it the preferred choice for builders and contractors tackling serious structural projects requiring reliable load-bearing performance. Please note, this lintel must be bedded on mortar with a minimum end bearing of 150mm on each side for safe and effective use.

Application

Ideal for supporting concrete floors and point loads, this lintel is designed to carry the full weight of wet masonry immediately upon installation. It's commonly used in solid wall construction where heavy duty load support is essential, such as ground floor openings or areas subject to concentrated loads. The perforations along its length act as a plaster key, ensuring a secure finish once rendering is applied. To maintain structural integrity and speed up the build process, propping the lintel during installation is strongly recommended.
