Details

The Keystone HDBOX/K-100 1650mm INS is a specialist heavy duty box lintel engineered to support openings in 100mm solid walls. Its integrated insulation improves thermal efficiency, making it a smart choice for contractors and developers requiring robust and thermally considerate structural support. Please note, the lintel must be installed with a minimum 150mm bearing at each end and bedded on mortar for secure load transfer.

Application

Ideal for heavy duty loading scenarios, this box lintel is engineered to carry the full weight of wet masonry immediately upon installation. It is commonly used to support concrete floors and concentrated point loads over openings in solid masonry walls. The perforated surface along the lintel length offers a reliable keying surface for plaster or render, ensuring a durable and neat finish. For optimum performance and to aid construction speed, it is recommended that lintels are propped during installation.
