Ideal for serious projects, this lintel ensures dependable load-bearing capacity where cavity widths range from 90 to 105mm. Please note, correct installation practices are essential for optimal performance.

Application

This lintel is specifically designed for heavy duty use in cavity walls featuring an inner leaf blockwork width of 125-150mm. It’s commonly used to span structural openings such as windows and doors, providing critical support above these voids. To maintain structural integrity, the inner leaf blockwork should be built tight against the inner face of the lintel with no more than a 25mm overhang beyond the lintel flange. Propping the lintel during installation is advised to facilitate faster construction and ensure load is properly distributed. Additionally, a mortar bed should be placed on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to evenly distribute weight.
