Application

This lintel is typically used to span openings such as doors and windows in cavity walls where the inner leaf blockwork is between 125mm and 150mm thick. Its heavy duty design makes it suitable for projects demanding reliable load-bearing capacity. To ensure durability and maintain construction speed, it is recommended that lintels are propped during installation. The inner leaf blockwork must be built tight against the lintel's inner face, and overhang beyond the lintel flange should not exceed 25mm to maintain structural integrity. Additionally, a mortar bed should be applied on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to evenly distribute weight.
