Details

The Keystone HD/K-90 WIL is a heavy duty cavity wall lintel engineered to support openings in walls with cavity widths between 90 and 105mm. Designed specifically for use with 125-150mm wide inner leaf blockwork, this lintel offers dependable structural support for builders, contractors, and site managers handling serious building projects. Please note, lintels should be propped during installation to ensure safety and speed on site.

Application

This lintel is ideal for supporting load-bearing openings in cavity walls where the inner leaf blockwork is wider than standard, between 125mm and 150mm. It is commonly used above doors, windows, and other openings in residential and commercial masonry construction. Proper installation includes ensuring the inner leaf blockwork does not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm, and that blockwork is built tightly against the lintel’s inner face. A mortar bed should be placed on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to evenly distribute the load.
