The Keystone HD/K-90 WIL Heavy Duty Cavity Wall Lintel at 1200mm length is engineered for builders and contractors needing strong, dependable support for openings in cavity walls. Designed specifically for cavity widths between 90 and 105mm, this lintel is ideal where inner leaf blockwork measures 125-150mm wide. Please note, the blockwork should not exceed a 25mm overhang on the lintel flange to maintain structural integrity.

Application

This lintel is suited for heavy duty load-bearing in cavity wall constructions, particularly where wide inner leaf blocks are used. It is perfect for supporting window and door openings, ensuring stability and compliance with building standards. On-site, it’s best practice to prop the lintel during installation to accelerate build times and secure positioning. Ensure blockwork is built flush against the inner face of the lintel, and apply a mortar bed on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to guarantee even load distribution.
