The Keystone HD/K-90 is a robust heavy duty cavity wall lintel designed for builders and contractors requiring reliable support over openings in cavity walls. Its 2850mm length makes it suitable for a variety of structural applications where cavity widths range from 90mm to 105mm. Please note, this lintel is supplied without blockwork and should be installed following best practice to ensure optimal performance.

Application

This lintel is specifically engineered to carry heavy loads above doors, windows or other openings in cavity wall construction. It is ideal for projects with cavity widths from 90mm up to 105mm, accommodating common block sizes and cavity insulation thicknesses. For proper installation, blockwork should be built tight against the inner face of the lintel, with a mortar bed placed on top of the blocks before laying floor units to achieve even load distribution. Propping the lintel during construction is recommended to maintain alignment and speed up building progress.
