Details

The Keystone HD/K-90 Heavy Duty Cavity Wall Lintel, at 1950mm long, is engineered for builders and contractors requiring robust support for cavity wall openings. Suitable for cavity widths from 90mm to 105mm, this lintel offers dependable load-bearing capacity on substantial structural projects. Please note lintels must be propped during installation to maintain safety and speed on site.

Application

Designed primarily for cavity wall construction, this lintel supports heavy duty loads over doorways, windows, and other structural openings. It is ideal where cavity widths range between 90mm and 105mm, commonly found in modern blockwork cavity walls. The lintel requires the inner face of the blockwork to be built tight against it, with a mortar bed placed on top before floor units are laid to ensure even load distribution. Correct propping during installation is recommended to maintain structural integrity and work efficiency.
