The Keystone HD/K-70 WIL 900mm is a robust heavy duty cavity wall lintel engineered for use in wide inner leaf blockwork applications. It is specifically designed for builders, site managers, and contractors working on cavity walls with 70-85mm widths, providing reliable support over openings where structural integrity is critical. Please note, inner leaf blocks should not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm to ensure proper load transfer.

Application

This lintel is ideal for supporting doorways, windows, and other openings in cavity walls constructed with 125-150mm wide inner leaf blockwork. It is suitable for heavy load-bearing scenarios commonly encountered on residential and commercial building sites. To ensure safe installation and maintain structural performance, it is recommended that lintels are propped during construction. Additionally, placing a mortar bed on top of the blockwork before laying floor units helps distribute loads evenly.
