The Keystone HD/K-70 WIL is a heavy duty cavity wall lintel tailored for builders and contractors requiring robust support for openings in cavity walls with wide inner leaves. At 1500mm in length, this lintel provides dependable load-bearing capacity for serious structural projects. Please note, blockwork must not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm, and proper propping is advised during installation.

Application

This lintel is engineered to support heavy loads over openings in cavity walls with inner leaf blockwork between 125-150mm wide and cavity widths from 70 to 85mm. It is ideal for use in structural door and window openings where durability and compliance with building standards are critical. Propping the lintel during construction is recommended to ensure safety and speed of build, while blockwork should be tightly built against the inner face of the lintel. A mortar bed should be applied on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to evenly distribute loads.
