Details

The Keystone HD/K-70 WIL Heavy Duty Cavity Wall Lintel at 1050mm length is engineered for builders and contractors requiring dependable support in cavity wall construction. Specifically designed for cavity widths between 70-85mm and inner leaf blockwork between 125-150mm, this lintel offers robust structural performance on demanding projects. Please note, lintels should be propped during installation to maintain construction speed and safety.

Application

This lintel is suited for use in cavity wall builds where wide inner leaf blocks are installed. It provides essential load-bearing support over openings such as windows and doors, ensuring structural integrity. Builders should ensure the inner leaf blockwork does not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm for optimal performance. A mortar bed should be applied on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to distribute loads evenly.
