Details

The Keystone HD/K-70 Heavy Duty Cavity Wall Lintel is engineered for tradespeople requiring dependable support for cavity wall openings between 70 and 85mm. At 3600mm in length, this lintel is a robust solution for structural openings in both residential and commercial projects. Please note lintels are sold individually and propping is advised during installation to maintain structural integrity and construction pace.

Application

This lintel is designed to carry heavy loads over cavity wall openings such as doors and windows where cavity widths range from 70mm to 85mm. It is suited to blockwork construction where the blockwork is built tight against the inner face of the lintel. A mortar bed should be applied on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to ensure even load distribution. Propping during installation is recommended to speed up construction and safeguard the structure while the lintel sets.
