Details

The Keystone HD/K-50 WIL is a heavy duty cavity wall lintel engineered to support wide inner leaf blockwork openings. Ideal for builders, site managers, and contractors working with cavity widths ranging from 50 to 65mm, it ensures dependable load-bearing capacity for serious structural projects. Please note, this lintel is designed for use with 125-150mm wide inner leaf blocks, and inner leaf blockwork should not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm to maintain integrity.

Application

This lintel is specifically suited for cavity wall construction where a heavy duty lintel is required to span openings such as doorways and large window frames. It supports inner leaf blockwork in cavity widths between 50 and 65mm, commonly found in modern masonry builds. To optimise installation speed and structural performance, it is recommended that the lintel is propped during construction. Mortar should be bedded on top of the blockwork before floor units are laid to ensure even load distribution across the lintel.
