The Keystone HD/K-50 WIL Heavy Duty Cavity Wall Lintel is engineered for builders and site managers requiring dependable support over openings in cavity walls with wider inner leaf blocks. Suitable for serious projects, this lintel is designed to accommodate cavity widths between 50 and 65mm and inner leaf blockwork thicknesses of 125 to 150mm. Application

This lintel is specifically crafted to provide robust load-bearing support for cavity wall openings such as window and door frames where the inner leaf is wider than standard. The heavy duty construction makes it ideal for structural walls on residential or commercial developments. For best results, ensure the inner leaf blockwork does not exceed a 25mm overhang beyond the lintel flange. Propping the lintel during installation is recommended to maintain alignment and speed up construction. A mortar bed should be laid atop the blockwork before installing floor units to evenly distribute loads.
