Details

The Keystone HD/K-150 WIL is a heavy duty cavity wall lintel purpose-built for supporting structural openings in masonry cavity walls with a 150-165mm cavity width. Suitable for builders, contractors, and site managers working with 125-150mm wide inner leaf blockwork, this lintel offers dependable load-bearing capacity where reliability is critical. Please note, inner leaf block must not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm to ensure proper support.

Application

This lintel is designed to carry heavy loads over openings such as windows and doors in cavity walls featuring a wide inner leaf. It is ideal for use in both residential and commercial construction projects requiring robust structural support. To maintain build quality and speed up construction, it is recommended that lintels be propped temporarily during installation. The blockwork should be built tight against the inner face of the lintel, and a mortar bed placed on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to evenly distribute the load.
