Details

The Keystone HD/K-150 WIL 750mm is a heavy duty cavity wall lintel engineered for builders and contractors working on cavity walls with wide inner leaf blockwork. It’s designed to reliably support openings where the cavity width ranges from 150 to 165mm, ensuring structural integrity for demanding projects. Please note, the inner leaf blockwork should not extend beyond 25mm over the lintel flange to maintain proper support.

Application

This lintel is ideal for use in cavity walls featuring a wide inner leaf, typically 125-150mm thick blockwork. It provides a robust bearing for window and door openings, supporting heavy loads above. To speed up site progress and ensure safety, propping lintels during installation is strongly recommended. The blockwork must be built firmly against the lintel’s inner face, with a mortar bed applied on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to evenly distribute the load.
