The Keystone HD/K-150 WIL 1800mm lintel is a heavy duty structural component designed specifically for cavity walls with wide inner leaves. It is tailored for builders, site managers, and contractors requiring a dependable lintel to support openings in blockwork measuring 125-150mm wide. Please note, the inner leaf blockwork must be built tight against the lintel and should not overhang the flange by more than 25mm to ensure optimal performance.

Application

This lintel is ideal for use in cavity walls where the cavity width ranges from 150 to 165mm. It supports heavy loads over openings such as windows and doors within inner leaf blockwork of 125-150mm thickness. To maintain structural integrity and speed up construction, it is recommended that lintels are propped during installation. Additionally, placing a mortar bed atop the blockwork before laying floor units ensures even load distribution across the lintel.
