Please note, this lintel is supplied as a single piece measuring 2700mm in length, and proper installation practices should be followed to ensure structural integrity.

Application

This lintel is ideal for use in cavity wall construction projects requiring heavy duty support over openings such as windows and doors. It is suited for inner leaf blockwork widths of 125-150mm and designed to carry significant loads safely. The lintel flange should not be overhung by more than 25mm by the blockwork to maintain performance. For best results, lintels should be propped during installation to facilitate quicker build times and ensure stability while masonry work is completed. Mortar bedding on top of the blockwork before laying floor units is recommended to evenly distribute loads.
