Please note, lintels must be propped during installation to facilitate safe and speedy construction.

Application

This lintel is specifically designed for use in cavity walls where the inner leaf blockwork measures between 125 and 150mm in width. It provides strong load-bearing support over openings such as windows and doorways, particularly in projects requiring heavy duty structural elements. Builders should ensure the inner leaf block does not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm to maintain proper load transfer. For optimal results, blockwork should be built tight against the lintel’s inner face and a mortar bed placed on top before floor units are installed, ensuring even load distribution.
