The Keystone HD/K-130 WIL 2250mm lintel is a heavy duty structural component engineered for cavity walls with wide inner leaf blockwork. Specifically designed for professional builders and contractors, it reliably supports openings where cavity widths range from 130 to 145mm. Please note that inner leaf blocks should not extend beyond the lintel flange by more than 25mm to maintain structural integrity.

Application

This lintel is ideal for use in cavity walls requiring a robust support system, particularly on projects with wide inner leaf blockwork between 125 and 150mm thick. It is commonly installed above doors, windows, and other openings where heavy loads must be safely transferred to adjacent masonry. For optimum performance and faster construction, it is recommended to prop the lintel during installation and ensure blockwork is built tightly against the lintel’s inner face. Mortar bedding over the blockwork is essential before laying floor units to evenly distribute weight.
