The Keystone HD/K-130 WIL heavy duty cavity wall lintel is engineered for professional builders and contractors working with wide inner leaf cavity walls. At 1800mm long, this lintel reliably supports openings where cavity widths range between 130-145mm, making it an excellent choice for structural stability on serious projects. Please note, inner leaf blockwork should not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm to maintain integrity.

Application

This lintel is suited to heavy duty applications in cavity wall construction, specifically designed for inner leaf blockwork between 125-150mm wide. It's commonly used to span window and door openings, providing robust support for blockwork above. For best results, lintels should be propped during installation to aid safe and efficient build progress. Ensure blockwork is built tight against the inner face of the lintel, and apply a mortar bed on top before laying floor units to evenly distribute the load.
