Please note that inner leaf blockwork must not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm to ensure proper support.

Application

This lintel is specifically suited for cavity wall construction with wide inner leaf blockwork typically between 125mm and 150mm thick. It is ideal for supporting window and door openings in load-bearing walls where heavy duty load resistance is required. To optimise stability and speed on site, it is advised to prop the lintel during installation. Additionally, blockwork should be built tightly against the inner face of the lintel, and a mortar bed should be applied on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to distribute the load evenly.
