The Keystone HD/K-130 WIL is a heavy duty cavity wall lintel specifically engineered for wide inner leaf blockwork. It is ideal for builders and contractors requiring reliable structural support for openings where cavity widths range from 130 to 145mm. Please note, inner leaf blocks must be within 125-150mm thickness and may not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm to maintain integrity.

Application

This lintel is commonly used in cavity wall constructions to support heavy loads above window and door openings. It is designed to accommodate wider inner leaf blockwork, providing robust support for serious building projects such as residential and commercial developments. Propping lintels during installation is advised to ensure stability and speed up the build process. Mortar bedding on top of the blockwork should be placed before laying floor units to evenly distribute loads.
