The Keystone HD/K-110 WIL Heavy Duty Cavity Wall Lintel at 2550mm is engineered specifically for supporting wide wall openings where a robust solution is essential. This lintel is designed for use by builders, contractors, and site managers working with cavity walls featuring a wide inner leaf, offering reliable load-bearing performance on demanding projects. Please note, inner leaf blockwork must not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm to maintain integrity.

Application

This lintel is ideal for cavity wall constructions with inner leaf widths ranging from 110 to 125mm and supports blockwork between 125 and 150mm wide. It is commonly used to reinforce openings such as windows or doorways in heavy-duty masonry builds. For optimal results and construction speed, it is advised to prop the lintel during installation. Additionally, ensure that blockwork is built tightly against the inner face of the lintel, and lay a mortar bed on top of the blockwork before placing floor units for even load distribution.
