Application

This lintel is ideal for use in cavity wall construction featuring wide inner leaf blockwork measuring 125 to 150mm. It supports lintelled openings such as doors and windows where a heavy duty load capacity is required. Tradespeople should ensure the inner leaf blockwork does not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm to maintain structural integrity. Propping the lintel during build is recommended to facilitate safe and efficient construction. Mortar bedding should be applied on top of the blockwork prior to laying floor units to distribute loads evenly.
