Application

This lintel is ideal for cavity wall constructions featuring a wider inner leaf, typically 125-150mm thick blockwork. It supports door and window openings, ensuring the masonry above remains stable under load. To maintain construction efficiency and safety, it is advisable to prop the lintel during installation. The inner leaf blockwork should be built tight against the lintel’s inner face, with no more than a 25mm overhang beyond the lintel flange. A mortar bed placed on top of the blockwork before laying floor units helps to evenly distribute loads across the lintel.
