Details

The Keystone CFS/K-90 WOL lintel is an extra heavy duty structural steel lintel measuring 4350mm long, engineered specifically for cavity walls with wide outer leaf blockwork. It is a reliable choice for builders and site managers handling large openings where robust support is critical. Please note, outer leaf blocks are not included and must not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm for optimal performance.

Application

This lintel is designed for cavity wall construction with cavity widths between 90mm and 105mm, paired with outer leaf blockwork thickness of 125mm to 150mm. It is ideal for supporting heavy loads over window and door openings in residential or commercial projects. To ensure structural integrity and speed up build times, lintels should be properly propped until the surrounding masonry has fully cured. Mortar bedding above the blockwork is essential to evenly distribute the load from floor units or other structural elements.
