Application

This lintel is ideal for supporting openings in cavity walls with a cavity width of 90-105mm and an outer leaf block width ranging from 125 to 150mm. It is commonly used in masonry construction where extra heavy duty load-bearing capacity is essential, such as in residential or commercial developments with wide outer leaf blockwork. To ensure structural integrity and speed of installation, it is recommended that the lintel is propped during construction and that blockwork is built tightly against the lintel’s inner face.

Important: The outer leaf blockwork must not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm to maintain proper load distribution.
