Details

The Keystone CFS/K-90 WOL 2850mm is an extra heavy duty cavity wall lintel engineered for builders and contractors working on robust structural openings. It is specifically designed to support cavity walls with widths between 90 and 105mm and outer leaf blockwork of 125-150mm thickness. For accurate installation and load performance, please note the outer leaf block must not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm.

Application

This lintel is ideal for use in cavity wall constructions requiring wide outer leaf support, such as commercial and residential buildings where heavy loads must be safely carried over openings like windows and doors. It is suitable for projects demanding extra heavy duty bearing capacity to maintain structural integrity. Proper propping during installation is advised to speed up construction and prevent movement. Ensure blockwork is built tight against the inner face of the lintel and a mortar bed is placed on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to evenly distribute the load.
