The Keystone CFS/K-90 WOL Extra Heavy Duty Cavity Wall Lintel, measuring 2250mm in length, is engineered specifically for cavity walls with wide outer leaves. It offers robust support for openings where cavity widths range between 90 and 105mm, making it a dependable choice for builders and site managers working on demanding structural projects. Please note, outer leaf blocks are sold separately and must be installed carefully as per guidance.

Application

This lintel is commonly used in cavity wall construction with outer leaf blockwork widths of 125 to 150mm. It is designed to carry extra heavy loads over openings such as doors and windows, ensuring structural integrity on new builds or refurbishments. To maintain best practice, the outer leaf block should not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm. Propping the lintel during installation is advised to accelerate build times and guarantee load stability. Mortar bedding should be applied on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to evenly distribute weight.
