Application

This lintel is typically used by builders, site managers, and contractors to bridge openings such as doors and windows in cavity walls with wide outer leaf blockwork. To ensure proper load distribution, the outer leaf blockwork should be built tight against the inner face of the lintel, with a mortar bed placed on top of the blockwork before laying floor units.
