The Keystone CFS/K-90 WIL Extra Heavy Duty Cavity Wall Lintel at 3150mm is engineered for builders and contractors working on demanding cavity wall projects requiring robust structural support. Designed to carry heavy loads over wide openings, this lintel suits cavity widths from 90 to 105mm with a wide inner leaf of 125 to 150mm blockwork. Please note, this product is supplied as the lintel only; blocks and additional materials are sold separately.

Application

This lintel is ideal for supporting large window or door openings in cavity walls where an extra heavy duty load-bearing solution is essential. It is commonly used in residential and commercial building projects that require wide inner leaf construction with blockwork that should not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm. For optimal safety and installation speed, it is advised to prop the lintel during construction. Additionally, laying a mortar bed on top of the blockwork before placing floor units ensures an even distribution of load across the lintel.
