Details

The Keystone CFS/K-90 WIL 1800mm lintel is a specialist extra heavy duty cavity wall lintel engineered for builders and contractors working on substantial openings with cavity widths from 90 to 105mm. It provides robust support for wide inner leaf blockwork between 125 and 150mm, ensuring reliability on serious structural projects. Please note that the inner leaf block should not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm to maintain integrity during installation.

Application

This lintel is ideal for cavity walls where strong load-bearing capacity is required, particularly in residential or commercial builds with wider inner leaf blockwork. It is suited for supporting openings such as window or door frames where extra heavy duty performance is necessary. To ensure optimal performance and construction speed, propping the lintel during installation is recommended. Additionally, ensure blockwork is built tightly against the inner face of the lintel, and apply a mortar bed on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to distribute loads evenly.
