Suitable for cavity walls with 90-105mm widths and inner leaf blockwork 125-150mm wide.
Ideal for supporting wide inner leaf masonry openings on commercial and residential projects.
Constructed to ensure solid load transfer when installed with recommended mortar bedding and propping.
Inner leaf blockwork must not exceed a 25mm overhang beyond the lintel flange; propping recommended for faster build.

Details

The Keystone CFS/K-90 WIL is an extra heavy duty cavity wall lintel measuring 1350mm in length, engineered specifically for openings with cavity widths between 90mm and 105mm. Designed to support inner leaf blockwork between 125mm and 150mm wide, it provides robust structural integrity for serious builders and contractors tackling demanding projects. Please note, inner leaf blockwork should not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm, and propping is advised to speed up construction.

Application

This lintel is ideal for use in cavity wall constructions where an extra heavy duty lintel is needed to span wide openings such as doorways and large window apertures. Its design supports inner leaf blockwork widths of 125-150mm, commonly found in commercial and residential masonry builds. Installation requires the blockwork to be built tight against the lintel’s inner face, with a mortar bed placed on top to ensure even load distribution when floor units or further masonry are laid above.
