The Keystone CFS/K-90 WIL is a robust extra heavy duty cavity wall lintel, purpose-built for trade professionals requiring dependable structural support for wide inner leaf masonry openings. Measuring 1200mm in length, this lintel is engineered to fit cavity widths between 90-105mm and accommodate inner leaf blockwork from 125 to 150mm thick. Please note, the inner leaf block should not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm to ensure proper load transfer.

Application

This lintel is ideal for builders and contractors installing cavity walls with heavy-duty load requirements, such as lintels above large window or door openings. It provides critical support to prevent structural movement and maintain integrity in wide inner leaf blockwork walls. For best results, it is recommended to prop lintels during installation to speed up construction and achieve optimal alignment. Lintels should be bedded on a mortar layer on top of the blockwork before laying floor units, ensuring an even distribution of loads across the structure.
