The Keystone CFS/K-70 WOL 600mm lintel is engineered for extra heavy-duty load-bearing applications in cavity wall construction. Ideal for builders and site managers working with cavity widths of 70-85mm and wider outer leaf blockwork, this lintel provides dependable support for structural openings. Please note, the outer leaf block should not extend beyond the lintel flange by more than 25mm to ensure correct load distribution.

Application

This lintel is typically used to span openings such as windows and doors in cavity walls with a wide outer leaf. It supports blockwork ranging from 125mm to 150mm in width, making it a robust choice for residential and commercial builds requiring extra heavy-duty structural support. To maintain build quality and speed, it is recommended that lintels are propped during installation. Additionally, blockwork should be built tight against the inner face of the lintel, with a mortar bed placed on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to distribute loads evenly.
