Details

The Keystone CFS/K-70 WOL lintel is an extra heavy duty steel lintel engineered for cavity wall openings where the cavity width ranges between 70 and 85mm. Ideal for builders, contractors, and site managers working with 125-150mm thick outer leaf blockwork, it offers dependable structural support on demanding projects. Please note that outer leaf block should not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm to maintain integrity.

Application

This lintel is designed to carry significant loads over openings in cavity walls with a wide outer leaf. It is commonly used in structural masonry to bridge window and door openings, ensuring stability and durability in both domestic and commercial builds. For optimal performance and to speed up construction, it is recommended that lintels are propped during installation. Mortar should be bedded on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to evenly distribute the load.
