Details

The Keystone CFS/K-70 WOL is an extra heavy duty cavity wall lintel, specifically designed for builders and contractors working with wide outer leaf blockwork. At 3900mm long, this lintel provides dependable structural support for openings where cavity widths range between 70 and 85mm. Its robust construction makes it a smart choice for projects demanding high load capacity and reliability on site. Please note, outer leaf blockwork must not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm, and lintels should be propped during installation.

Application

This lintel is ideal for supporting large openings in cavity walls with an outer leaf thickness of 125-150mm. It is commonly used in commercial and residential developments where extra heavy duty load-bearing capacity is required. Proper installation involves building blockwork tightly against the inner face of the lintel and placing a mortar bed on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to ensure even load distribution. Propping the lintel during construction is recommended to maintain safety and facilitate quicker build times.
